Yes, it is usually possible to bring your family members to Indonesia when holding an Indonesia work visa. Family members will apply for dependent visas on the same KITAS as the work visa holder. Technically, the dependent visas are also sponsored by the company hiring the worker; however, it’s important to note that a dependent visa holder in Indonesia is not permitted to work or earn income in Indonesia.

KITAS holders usually have valid residency in Indonesia for 3 months – 1 year. The Indonesian work visa can be renewed annually up to 4 times, at which point the applicant would be eligible for a KITAP (permanent stay visa)
