The minimum wage is set by the Ministry of Labor (MOL): The MOL consults with the Basic Wage Committee, which is composed of representatives from the government, labor unions, and employer associations. The MOL then reviews these recommendations and makes the final decision on any adjustments to the minimum wage. These adjustments are typically made in response to changes in economic conditions, inflation, and labor market trends.
